Anti-Ragging Committee (2024–25)

Saraswati College of Education, Hisar is committed to maintaining asafe, respectful,and ragging-free environment for all students. The institution strictly adheres to the UGCRegulationson Curbing the Menace of Ragging in Higher Educational Institutions (2009; amended in 2016, 2021,and2023).

Ragging in any form—physical, psychological, or verbal—is a punishable offence and isstrictly prohibited on campus, in hostels, and during any college-related activities.

Functions of the Committee
1. Preventive & Awareness Measures
  • Conducts orientation sessions for new entrants.
  • Organizes anti-ragging workshops, seminars, and awareness campaigns.
  • Ensures all students and parents submit mandatory anti-ragging affidavits.
2. Monitoring & Vigilance
  • Conducts regular surprise inspections of hostels, canteens, classrooms, and common areas.
  • Reports observations confidentially to the Principal.
3. Grievance Redressal
  • Maintains a confidential mechanism for online and offline complaints.
  • Ensures prompt and fair inquiry into all reported cases.
4. Documentation & Reporting
  • Maintains meeting minutes, compliance records, and quarterly reports.
  • Submits summary reports to the Principal and Governing Body.
