Eligibility: Upper Primary, Secondary, or Senior Secondary school teachers working as full-time in-service teachers with at least 2 years of teaching experience, along with a minimum of 50% marks in Graduation and/or Postgraduation.
The B.Ed. Part-Time programme is a professional teacher education course designed specifically for in-service teachers and working education professionals who wish to upgrade their teaching qualifications while continuing their employment.
Structured over 3 years, the programme combines theoretical understanding, school-based practice, internship, and professional development activities to strengthen teaching effectiveness, classroom engagement, and educational leadership.

Students enrolled in the B.Ed. Part-Time programme are expected to adhere to the academic and professional requirements prescribed for successful completion of the course.
Attendance Requirement: Minimum 80% attendance in coursework and 90% attendance in school internship is mandatory.
Internship Requirement: Completion of 12 weeks of supervised school internship (4 weeks each academic year).
Teaching Employment: Students must remain employed as full-time in-service teachers throughout the duration of the programme.
Internal Assessment: Evaluation includes minor tests, assignments, attendance, and co-curricular participation.
School-Based Activities: Participation in case studies, seminars, textbook analysis, evaluation tool preparation, and community-based activities is compulsory.
Maximum Duration: The programme must be completed within a maximum period of 5 years from the date of admission.
Assessment Pattern: External examinations and evaluation follow the same standards as the regular full-time B.Ed. programme.

Mental Well-being & Personality Development: Meditation, confidence building, self-development, and digital wellness initiatives.
Community & Social Service Clubs: NSS, Swachhta initiatives, health awareness, village outreach, gender equality, and environmental activities.
