Eligibility Criteria
Candidates who have passed 10+2 (Senior Secondary Examination) or its equivalent from a recognized board with the minimum qualifying marks prescribed by the affiliating authority are eligible for admission to the D.El.Ed. programme. Admission shall be subject to applicable government, university, and regulatory body norms.
The Diploma in Elementary Education (D.El.Ed.) is a two-year full-time professional teacher education programme designed to prepare aspiring teachers for elementary education levels. The programme focuses on child development, pedagogy, inclusive education, classroom management, teaching methodologies, and extensive school internship to develop competent, learner-centered teaching professionals.

First Year includes Mathematics Education, Environmental Studies, English Language, and one language option from Hindi, Urdu, or Punjabi. Second Year includes one language pedagogy course (Hindi, Urdu, or Punjabi) and any two subject pedagogy courses from English, Mathematics, Social Science, and Science Education, along with practicum and internship components.
